Zoē Anti-Aging & Wellness Spa was formed from the passion of owner-operator, Freida Polihronis Grdenic. After giving birth to her second child, Freida was destined to find a profession where she would be able to maximize her time with her two daughters - for over a decade, Freida has operated a day spa in her home by appointment only, where she prided herself on providing friendly personalized treatment for all of her clients.

She has now taken this to the next level, with the opening of Zoē Anti-Aging & Wellness Spa, in downtown St. Catharines.

THE CREATION OF THE PRODUCTS

Freida writes about the creation and concept behind her "Freida" brand of all natural personal products.

"I spent countless hours examining the purpose and function of many essential oils. It was then that I took it to the next level of experimenting with the oils, and that's how I stumbled across many heavenly scented, natural products.

I researched the benefits of certain oils and I liked what they did. The end result of blending them together is an aroma that is out of this world!

Through trial and error, and a great deal of research, it was discovered, that this was not a simple task. Certain oils are compatible while others are not. Much to my surprise all of the oils I combined in the one mixture were compatible and that's what got the ball rolling.

I soon enlisted the help of my two young daughters as the official testers. I plastered mounds of lotion, oils and dead sea salt body polish on the two youngsters in order to accommodate the needs of women with sensitive skin. Yet again, another winner. The girls' skin was soft, smooth and radiant with no reaction whatsoever.

I always purchased the highest quality of products and used them on myself as well as on my clients.

I developed this high end product line primarily to use on my clients, never thinking of retail use. Much to my surprise, once people were exposed to these products, they loved them and asked if they could purchase them.

I was elated, and that is what motivated me to create an entire skin care line from a facial cleanser to a body polish. It is one thing to see and smell the products and another to experience them.
